Ruth Reid is an avid painter, photographer and gardener. Her paintings are intuitive impressions life, filled with luscious colour and dramatic light. 

She has been painting in transparent watercolour since 1999  Her work has been juried into many art shows over the years. 

She has won many awards. Her paintings have taken first place honours at in the North Bay, Art in the Park Juried Show, LaCloche Annual Juried Show, and also in the Northern Ontario Art Association annual juried shows. 

Ruth is an enthusiastic and popular workshop instructor.

Ruth was born in Timmins Ontario. In other life times, she has been a journalist in print, television, and radio. She is an active member of the Sudbury Art Club.

Her goal is to create Art to Delight and Intrigue.
