I consider myself lucky to have been born in Canada, a rugged land that still offers so many resources in a constantly changing and developing world. I’m also lucky to have been born in a time when nature conversation has become an accepted topic as it allows me to work towards the passionate conservation goals I hold dear. I consider nature photography to be part art and part conversation with myself, and peers, working tirelessly to bring people breathtaking images of the beauty still left in the world. But, despite this, photography to me is still an exciting pastime that gives me an excuse to spend time in the woods, explore new areas, and maybe get covered in mud during the process.
